Assistant Manager - Logistics & Supply Management
As the Assistant Logistics and Supply Chain Manager, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the seamless flow of products from suppliers to customers. This role offers an exciting opportunityty for a dynamic professional to make a significant impact on our logistics and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management:Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess stock.
- Coordinate and oversee the order fulfillment process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers to enhance the supplier network.
- Process Optimization:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency measures.
- Streamline logistics operations to reduce lead times and costs.
- Analyse logistics data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate reports for management to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with logistics software and systems.
