ELV Maintenance Technician (Location: Tanzania)
HSC Systems Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Maintenance Technician to join our technical services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including Fire Protection Systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS).

- Reports To: Technical Services Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and testing of fire alarm systems, including smoke detectors, pull stations, control panels, and notification appliances, GRMS systems and the BMS systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in the systems.
- Ensure all systems are compliant with applicable fire codes, NFPA standards, and manufacturer specifications and are operating at the optimal .
- Complete inspection and maintenance reports accurately and on time.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and troubleshoot system issues.
- Keep up-to-date records of all inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
- Maintain inventory of service tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in ELV project implementation.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of fire alarm systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficient in using system configuration tools and diagnostic software.
- Excellent problem-solving, coordination and communication skills.
- Self-driven, well-organized and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in hospitality or commercial projects is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English; Kiswahili is an added advantage.
Work Conditions
- This is a field-based role with frequent site presence across Tanzania (including Zanzibar).
- May require travel to regional sites across East Africa.
- Flexibility in working hours based on project schedules is expected.
